President’s Message October 2025

Dear Sooner Model A Club members,

Hello and welcome to the Sooner Model A Club newsletter for October. I am looking forward to talking with you about what you would like to do for next year. You can call or text or come to any of the monthly meetings or one of the parades.

We were very happy to have good weather and a great turnout for the Czech Festival Parade in Yukon. The Board Meeting was well-attended and there were lots of discussions and suggestions.

The Fall Tour is starting on October 16th. Don and Chuck are currently reviewing all the details and checking with the facilities we will visit to make sure we have a great tour. The tour will terminate on the19th, just in time for the club meeting at the Will Rogers Garden Center at 2pm. We plan to play Card Bingo after refreshments.

Chuck has been talking with the Garden Center about their availability for our meeting schedule next year. It has been agreed that we can meet in the smaller room (Room 1) on the fourth Sunday of each month, except for April. The fourth Sunday had the most number of times we could meet.

Don and Chuck are also scouting locations for the Spring Tour next year, so please let them know if you have any suggestions or would like to help with the planning.

The Club Christmas Dinner is on December 14th at 2pm. The cost is $10.00 per person, and the Club will pay the balance. We need to have reservations to get an accurate count for the caterer, so the payment deadline for Christmas dinner is December 1st. We also have annual dues of $20.00 due by the end of the year.
