President’s Message March 2026

Dear Sooner Model A Club members, 

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. We are hoping that you can join us for the first parade of the year, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, in Stockyards City on March 14th. We have lots of activities this month, and a lot more scheduled for the Spring and Summer, and we look forward to seeing you at some of them. 

Our club meeting in January was cancelled because of the weather. The meeting in February was in the smaller room at the Will Rogers Garden Center. We had a few visitors and a lot of club members there, and most of us thought the smaller room made it a lot easier to talk to each other. Chuck was surprised that he ran out of coffee. He said he would bring more coffee in the future. It will be exciting to see what happens at the March meeting. 

Don and Chuck are continuing to plan for the Spring Tour. They discovered there is an AACA Club in Enid, and their members will be visiting with us on our first night there, and we will have the opportunity to see their cars while we are in Enid for the Spring Tour. We hope you can join us. The schedule is in the Scuttlebutt, along with the information about how to register. The complete driving directions for the tour will be available in our meeting room at the hotel. 

Gayle had to give up her position as Vice-President due to some health issues, and Don has agreed to fill the Vice-President position for the rest of this year. If you have any suggestions for activities or demonstrations, please let us know. We hope to see you somewhere along the Model A road.
