President Message for March 2023

Happy March to Everyone,

At our February club meeting, we had a very interesting geological talk on rocks by Herb Magley. He talked about the rose rock, which is only found in Oklahoma, and he had many cool looking rock samples, which we were able to look at in detail and handle as much as we liked. And what about those gold nuggets.

I hope everyone is doing well and surviving the winter blues. Spring is coming and the cold weather should be going away. It will be warming up soon and we can get our Model A’s out to drive around and see the sights.

We are looking forward to our next meeting, where we will have Model A Bingo after the business meeting. It was a great turnout at Bubba’s on 19 February. There were ten Model A’s and lots of people at the Stockyards City St Patricks Day parade on 11 March. We are always so impressed with the great crowds at the parades in Stockyards City.

We are looking forward to another Sunday event on Sunday, 19 March at Incredible Pizza on NW Expressway. These Sunday afternoon get-togethers are a good time to get the Model  A’s out.
