HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

Welcome to Summer. I hope everyone survived the rash of tornadoes. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are affected by the storms. Our next Model A Club event is Eischen’s Chicken at 2:30pm on Saturday, June 15th. Eischen’s address is 109 S Second St in Okarche. The monthly club meeting is on the following day, Sunday, 16 June 2024 at 2 PM at the Will Rogers Garden Center, 3400 NW 36th St in OKC. Sunday is also Father’s Day, and we wish a very Happy Father’s Day to the fathers.

We were disappointed that we had to cancel the Club’s picnic. We thought it would be best to cancel to due to the health of some of the organizers, and we thought it would be better to wait until it can be properly planned when Ripper Park is available. We are hoping to reschedule the picnic later this summer, and we will let everyone know the details.

The Tulsa Model A Ford Club announced that the Fall Tour will be in the Bentonville, Arkansas area, on October 17 – 20, 2024. Please mark the dates on your calendars. These tours are fun, and we enjoy having the opportunity to meet many old friends and make new friends with people who are interested in Model A’s. I hope to see everyone there, and we will have a great time.

June 23-28, 2024 is the National Model A Convention in Ruidoso, NM. There will be hundreds of Model A’s there. Some of our members will be there.

The MAFCA Free Membership Program continues for new first-time members to MAFCA. The membership is free for the first year and it includes the Restorer Magazine, a $50.00 value. Contact Chet Wojcik Jr, Membership Director, at [email protected].

Please plan to attend one of the 4th of July parades this year. They are in Bethany and Edmond, on the same morning, which is on Thursday, the 4th of July. This is a great way to show our Model A’s. More information on both parades will be in the Scuttlebutt.
